John Rammel and I had a wonderful time reading selections from the Dorothy Rath/Irving Layton correspondence at the Ulyssean Society on Sunday March 9. Their new location at Knox Collage is very comfortable -a big improvement. This reading turned out to be special. A friend of Dorothy’s and a student of Irving’s were in the audience and added immensely to the lively post-reading discussion. Thanks to Virginia Rock and Shirley Gibson for offering this opportunity. John and I were given a year’s membership to the society and we look forward to more of their interesting monthly programs.
