Thanks to Saskia van Tetering, Anna van Maris and Johanna Powell who invited me to be part of Word Day @ Canada Blooms to read to a full house on stage at Parkdale Nurseries on March 18. It was wonderful to hear the work of fine poets Jasmine d’Costa, Kate Marshall Flaherty, CJ Martin, Nick Beat, Martin Springett, John Ambury and Saskia–and surprise singer Erin Thompson and musician Chris Birkett.
A memorable day: first time ever for poetry, flowers and trees to bloom together at the Direct Energy Centre.
